Since 1957, Sunset Lake Camp has been the destination of choice for young people and families looking for a week of adventure and fun. Over the years, thousands of campers have enjoyed this life-changing journey of discovery.
Now, as Sunset Lake Camp celebrates 50 years of camping excellence, we are looking forward to welcoming a whole new generation of campers. We are committed to providing each camper with an unforgettable week of new challenges, heart-pumping activities, and memories they'll treasure for a lifetime.
But our pledge goes deeper.
Our carefully selected staff is passionate about creating a place where each camper can thrive and grow ... a place of friendship, encouragement, and belonging. At Sunset Lake, campers are connected to a community that cares about them as individuals and nurtures them toward personal growth and positive relationships. This happens because at the heart of everything we do is an unconditional love for Jesus.
We praise God for what He did this last summer. Over seven weeks of camp we had a thousand campers come through our gates. Thanks to the tireless efforts of one of the finest summer staffs we've had the pleasure of working with, many campers chose to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and a number of them expressed a desire to prepare for baptism.
Our campers are more than just numbers to us.
Our summer staff have spent hours working and praying for each of these campers individually. Many of our counselors will stay in contact with their campers throughout the school year.
