STEP 1.
2009 NEW Staff Application
Apply online for a position at Sunset Lake.
NEW APPLICANTS! Once you've completed the online application please remember to follow-up with your four Personal Reference Forms. Before an application is considered for hire, all Personal Reference Forms must be turned in to our office.
They should be given to individuals you would have provide a confidential reference for you. Your reference sources should mail the completed forms directly to our office.

NEXT, send us a recent photo of yourself, either via email or mail. This will help us remember who you are!

Once your application and reference forms are returned to our office, we will contact you for further follow-up.
2009 RETURNING Staff Application

RETURNING STAFF! Simply click on the "2009 RETURNING Staff Application" above. It's a little shorter application process.
Please note that as returning staff you are not required to re-submit four Personal Reference Forms. However, you ARE required to proceed to Step 2 and complete the required "Returing Staff" Forms.
IMPORTANT - There are a few additional documents to complete this year. Please see Step 2 below.

Physical Exam Verification
If you are hired at Sunset Lake, whether you're a new or returning staff member, you will be required to provide proof of a physical examination.
The Health & Medical form has been revised to include physical exam information. The "Health History and Physical Exam" form can be found in 2009 Forms. This form must be completed and signed by your physician based on a physical examination having taken place within the last 24 months.
So, as we look ahead ... if you are hired for the 2009 season and you are re-hired in 2010, a new physical exam will not be required. We will note in your file to "refer to 2009 season". It will only have to be repeated every other year.
Annual Screening Policy
In an ongoing effort to maintain the highest ACA standard practices and to provide a healthy and safe environment for our campers and staff, effective immediately we will conduct an annual screening of ALL staff.
Staff "screening" means obtaining reports from designated government agencies of current motor vehicle operating records as well as criminal background checks, which would include a report from the US Department of Justice National Sex Offender Public Registry.
All "staff" means seasonal, year-round, volunteer, employed, and contracted, full-time and part-time staff will all be included in the annual screening process.
RETURNING STAFF -
If you are A "RETURNING" staff member, you will only be required to complete designated sections of the Background Screening Packet as specified below:
* SECTION I - Personal / Driver Information * SECTION III - Unlawful Conduct * SECTION VI - Statement of Release/Consent * GUIDELINES FOR VOLUNTEERS & CAREGIVERS * DRIVING RECORD REQUEST (WA state residents only) * RELEASE & CONSENT FORM FOR BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION

The Background Screening form to be used specifically by returning staff has been altered to reflect these changes. The Background Screening form for returning staff can be found under FORMS / RETURNING STAFF FORMS.
NEW STAFF -
If you are "NEW" staff, you are required to complete the entire Background Screening Packet which can be found under FORMS / NEW STAFF FORMS.
