Applications for Summer 2018 positions will open December 17th. Set aside about 30 minutes to complete the application before beginning as sessions cannot be saved if incomplete. Intern at Sunset Lake Camp!
This brand-new program is designed for those 15-17 years old who would like to get a taste of working at camp. Registration for the internship program opens December 17th and costs $200 for accepted applicants. Internships run for one week and applicants can apply for any week from Adventure Camp through Tween Plus! Camp. Register Here
Sunset Lake Camp is looking for young adults who are passionate about their relationship with Jesus Christ and eager to share their love of Christ with children. Summer staff members should be supportive of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and ready to serve as positive Christian role models for the campers who come each week. Each summer employee should expect to work hard, have a ton of fun, make lifelong friends from all across the country and grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.
What to Expect
Sunset Lake Camp’s summer season lasts for eight weeks. Summer staff members are employed for up to nine weeks. Staff will work a minimum of 10 hours a day with at least two hours off a day. Each staff member gets one day off per week. Our pay scale is based on education level and years of prior camp experience. Staff members who attend an adventist academy, college, or university may be eligible for additional scholarship money. Each employee must have a background screening prior to the start of employment. Staff members receive free room and board as part of their summer contract. Travel expenses to the camp are the responsibility of the employee.
