Dining Hall Project

Since 1962, our dining hall has been a place share meals, laughter, and lifelong memories together. The current facility is aging, too small for current needs, and lacks the kitchen space for our growing camp family. To maintain an incredible camp experience, we have launched a campaign for a new dining hall.

Project Plan

Designed by the School of Architecture at Andrews University, this 10, 100 square foot building will seat 300+ and include an expanded kitchen and separate serving area. The single-pitched building captures the views of the lake and surrounding forest.

Together, we can build a future where everyone has a seat at the table. We’re looking for donors to make this plan a reality.

Project Goals

Our new dining hall will be more than just a place to eat. It’ll be a gathering place where faith is strengthened, friendships are built, and the next generation of campers & guests are inspired.

With your support, we will break ground in the next three years and ensure that Sunset Lake continues to be a place of transformation for decades to come.

  • Hard costs come in at around $2.5 million or about $240 a square foot.
